Kane celebrates his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has declared that his desire in returning to the Premier League has faded and he is open to negotiate a new deal with Bayern Munich.
The accomplished striker is at the moment two years through the four-year deal he signed when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the summer of 2023.
The experienced forward has netted an outstanding 103 goals in 106 matches for the German side, contributing them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which represented the first important honor of his notable career.
Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has previously mentioned that he would welcome to see Kane come back to England, where he requires 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring milestone of 260.
However, the England leader has now clarified that he is no longer as keen about returning home as he earlier was, and would seriously think about extending his tenure in Bavaria.
"In terms of remaining longer, I could absolutely see that," he commented.
"I discussed openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to come up I would be willing to talk and have an honest conversation.
"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so progresses and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not thinking about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would probably say that has diminished a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have learned in my career is that different opportunities and different timings happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."
Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the historic top scorer for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the fastest player this century to reach 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five competitions, attaining the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a trophy had eluded him until he won the German title last season.
Kane states that he was not sure how he would react after ending his trophy wait, but now thinks it has made him motivated for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be easy to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he added.
"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've demonstrated that this year.
"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
