Prolific children's author and TV personality David Walliams has parted ways with his longtime publishing house, as confirmed by the firm.

A spokesman for the publisher said: "After careful consideration, and under the leadership of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK has chosen to cease publishing any new titles by David Walliams."

Media sources suggest that the decision was reached following an inquiry regarding allegations of conduct deemed unsuitable involving women.

The firm has not elaborated on the specific rationale behind the move, stating: "We refrain from speaking about internal matters."

A Highly Successful Literary Career

Walliams stands as a most prolific writers for young readers, with sales exceeding more than 60 million copies globally in five dozen languages.

His inaugural foray into kids' literature, *The Boy in the Dress*, was released through HarperCollins in 2008.

Several of his books, such as *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have subsequently been turned into television films.

He has published more than 40 books in total, which features a festive story titled *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins this past October.

His initial claim to fame came on the TV sketch series *Little Britain* and has additionally received National Television Awards for his work as a judge on *Britain's Got Talent*.

He received an OBE in 2017 in recognition of his work for philanthropic and artistic endeavors.
