Two individuals are now facing charges following a luggage theft where a substance thought to be capsaicin spray resulted in harm at London's Heathrow Airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, have both been charged with two robbery charges and charges for deploying a toxic agent, as confirmed by court officials.

This legal action stems from an investigation into an attack at the parking structure at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Earlier that day, two female travelers had their suitcases stolen after exiting a parking garage elevator, according to law enforcement.

A three-year-old girl was among those injured during the incident. Several persons were taken to a medical facility and were eventually allowed to go home.

This event – which authorities stated was isolated and deemed non-terroristic – led to disruptions to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a limited duration.
